Match the setup to the behavior
The safer setup depends on what your pet does. A chewing cat, a digging dog, and a pet that knocks over pots need different placement choices.
For the full guide list, see plant safety guides.
Common behavior risks
- Chewing leaves can still cause stomach upset even when a plant is listed as non-toxic.
- Digging soil can expose fertilizer, soil additives, or moldy material.
- Knocked-over pots can create broken ceramic, spilled soil, and plant damage.
